This year the Gordons Community Players of the Month are being recognized with a custom London Knights chain and pendant courtesy of our friend’s at Gordons Gold, proudly recognizing the Knights for their efforts off the ice in memory of Duane Bock.

 

March 2025 – Rene Van Bommel

Gordon’s Gold proudly presents the London Knights community player of the month award and for the month of March we recognize forward Rene Van Bommel for his tremendous community spirit all season long participating in many events and programs going above and beyond as a leader in the community. February 2025 – Liam Spencer

Gordon’s Gold proudly presents the London Knights community player of the month award and for the month of February we recognize defenceman Liam Spencer for his dedication to the London community and getting involved in a number of programs, school visits, minor hockey programs and meet and greets. January 2025 – Sam O’Reilly

December 2024 – Aleksei Medvedev

Gordon’s Gold proudly presents the London Knights community player of the month award and for the month of December we recognize goaltender Aleksei Medvedev for his outstanding commitment to our local community especially his tremendous work with the London Junior Knights helping young goalies achieve their goals. November 2024 – Denver Barkey

Novembers Gordon’s Gold community player of the month award for the 2024-2025 season goes to Captain Denver Barkey. Denver alongside the Official London Knights Fan Club has started Barkey’s Buds, an initiative to provide tickets and hockey equipment to kids in London Housing. The program has already brought families to games and continues to grow in a positive direction. Thank you Denver for making a huge impact in kids lives here in London off the ice!

October 2024 – Evan Van Gorp

Octobers Gordon’s Gold community player of the month award for the 2024-2025 season is Evan Van Gorp. Evan has led students at local public schools with a positive attitude and continues to grow in his leadership qualities away from the rink. Congrats to Evan and thank you to Gordons Gold for celebrating the important moments off the ice!

September 2024 – Owen Willmore

Septembers Gordon’s Gold community player of the month award for the 2024-2025 season is Owen Willmore. Owen spent his summer working in the community with young goalies and always represents the Knights well with kids at home games. Owen shows tremendous passion for the game and always treats everyone with respect and has a smile on his face.
