KNIGHTS HOST STING IN ANNUAL NEW YEARS EVE GAME
The London Knights and the Sarnia Sting are set to face off in the annual New Years home-and-home series.
Returning from the holiday break the Knights went into Flint shorthanded with key veterans out of the lineup and pulled off an impressive 4-1 win. Aleksei Medvedev was the star in goal for the Knights stopping 37/38 while the Knights youth chipped in offensively with goals from Noah Aboflan, Andoni Fimis, Henry Brzustewicz, and PJ Fagan.
The Sting also began the second half with a road win of their own with a 4-3 win in Saginaw behind a big performance from Nick Surzycia. Zach Filak lead the way with three assists while Ryan Brown added a goal and an assist of his own.
Both teams met just before the holiday break at Canada Life Place when the Knights took a dominating 6-1 win. Puck drop is set for 4:00pm from Canada Life Place.
