Oshawa, ON. –  The Oshawa Generals have traded forward Sam Roberts to the Brantford Bulldogs in exchange for a package of picks.

Roberts was a first-round pick of the Generals in 2025, selected with the 16th overall pick.

In his rookie season, Sam played in 55 games, collecting nine points, including four goals and five assists. Roberts was also named to one of the U17 Canadian teams for last year’s U17 World Challenge, where he earned a silver medal.

So far this season, Roberts has played in all 7 games, tallying three assists.

In return, the Generals are getting a four-pick package that includes a London 3rd-round pick in 2027, a Peterborough 4th-round pick in 2028, a Guelph 5th-round pick in 2029, and a conditional Brantford 15th-round pick in 2030.
