Video Coach – Barrie Colts
The Barrie Colts are seeking a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Video Coach to join our hockey operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about hockey, video production, and technology, and wants to contribute to a high-performance environment in the Ontario Hockey League.
Responsibilities
- Capture and manage game and practice video.
- Record, organize, and upload video for coaching staff and league requirements.
- Prepare game clips and breakdowns for coaches and players.
- Assist with pre-scout and post-game video analysis.
- Maintain video equipment and ensure all systems are operating properly.
- Coordinate video needs during home and away games.
- Support hockey operations staff with additional technical and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
- Experience with video editing and analysis software (such as Steva, Hudl Sportscode or similar platforms) is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel with the team as required.
- Passion for hockey and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
