Soo Receives:

“Anytime you move a player like Jacob who has spent his entire career here in Barrie is tough. Jacob has been a great member of our organization since we first drafted him in the third round of the OHL Draft in 2019. We’re proud of how he has continued to grow his game and developed as a person, we look forward to watching him continue his hockey career and wish him all the best with the Greyhounds.” Commented Head Coach & GM, Marty Williamson.
Frasca, who has spent his entire career as a member of the Colts, has suited up in 144 games for the Colts and registered 104 points (44 Goals & 62 Assists).
With the trade, the Colts have acquired overage forward Brenden Sirizzotti from the Greyhounds. Sirizzotti, a Whitby, ON native, is a 6.00 and 193lb right winger and was originally drafted by the Ottawa 67’s in the second round of the 2019 OHL Draft. During his OHL career, he has suited up for Ottawa, Niagara, and most recently Soo. Brenden joins the Colts having registered 138 points (53 Goals, 85 Assists) in 182 OHL games. Sirizzotti has previously attended the Montreal Canadiens rookie camp.
“By bringing in Brenden we’re adding a strong offensive-minded forward who has proven himself in this league as someone who can contribute on the scoresheet. We’re looking forward to having his skillset and veteran presence to our group. We look forward to welcoming him to Barrie.” Added Williamson
The entire Barrie Colts would like to thank Jacob for all his contributions to our organization and community.
