Colts Acquire Forward Luca Testa from Brantford Bulldogs
The Barrie Colts announced today that they have acquired forward Luca Testa from the Brantford Bulldogs in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2030 OHL Priority Selection and a conditional 14th-round pick in the 2029 OHL Priority Selection.
Testa, a native of Grimsby, Ont., posted 15 goals and 11 assists for 26 points in 50 games with the Bulldogs this past season. The 19-year-old has spent his OHL career with Brantford after previous stops with the Hamilton Bulldogs and London Knights, and brings size, physicality and offensive upside to the Colts’ forward group.
“We’ve liked what Luca has brought to the table for a while now, but it was really his compete level in the playoffs last year that stood out to us,” said Colts General Manager Marty Williamson.
