BOUCHERVILLE, Thursday April 14, 2016 – The Commissioner of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Gilles Courteau granted Baie-Comeau Drakkar’s 5th round Draft pick to the Sherbrooke Phoenix following a complaint by the team related to Alexis Vanier’s trade on December 19, 2014.

The Phoenix lost the player’s services during the end of the 2015 season and playoffs following an injury that had occurred while the player was part of the Drakkar’s roster.

The Commissioner launched an investigation in order to analyse the facts and take an informed decision.
