Nashville Predators prospect Roest to re-join Everett Silvertips for remainder of season
Everett, Wash.- He does have a tendency to rule the roost.
Former Everett Silvertips co-captain Austin Roest is set to return to the team for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
The Nashville Predators plan to assign Roest to Everett after he completes rehabilitation from an injury sustained in September.
Roest, 20, led the Silvertips in goals and finished third in team scoring with 71 points (38G-33A) in 61 games in 2023-24, highlighted by three hat tricks and five game-winning goals.

The 2023 WHL U.S. Division Second-Team All-Star is coming off of back-to-back 30-plus goal seasons.
“When the opportunity arose to bring Austin back, it was a no-brainer,” Silvertips General Manager Mike Fraser said. “He is a Silvertip to the core who understands our identity and culture. He’s excited to return to Everett once he is recovered from injury, and we’re happy to welcome him back to Silvertip country.
“We’d like to extend our appreciation to the Nashville Predators organization for their assistance and support in Austin’s rehabilitation and development.”
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound centreman was drafted by the Silvertips in the third round of the 2019 WHL Prospects Draft.
He’s since tallied 86 goals and 103 assists for 189 points in 203 regular-season games.
Roest has another seven goals and eight assists in 16 playoff matches.
