Ward has consistently averaged roughly 20 goals a season over his WHL career.
Originally drafted by the Swift Current Broncos with the 14th overall pick in the 2019 WHL Prospects Draft, Ward is in his first season with the Tigers.
The Kamloops, B.C. product has tallied 237 points (84G-153A) in 237 career regular season games and is also a point-per-game in eight postseason matches (1G-7A).
Ward was also named an alternate captain for the Broncos in the 2022-23 season.
He recently recorded his first five-point game in the WHL with a hat trick and pair of assists against his former club in a 5-2 win for the Tigers on January 4.
Even more impressive, he scored two goals just six seconds apart.
