The boys are back in town! The Moose Jaw Warriors crushed the Edmonton Oil Kings this evening.  Eleven goals later, the Warriors would find them selves with their 11^th home win of the season.

 

First period featured, the man of the night—Molson first star Tony Honejsek scored the first goal of the night. Joey Kornelson scored his first goal of the season with assists coming from the defensive duo of Stanton and Hamonic. Warriors defensive leader, Travis Hamonic would score the last goal of the first to give the Warriors a 3-0 lead. 

 

Only 6:56 into the second, Hamonic would step up for another goal on the power play. Tony Honejsek would follow Hamonic with his second goal on the night; shutting down the Oil Kings defence. Edmonton would manage one goal in the second, coming from Maclise. 

 

The third period would be a scoring bonanza. Tony Honejsek scored another quick one at 1:04 to make it a 6-1 game. Tony would score only minutes later to tally an incredible four goals on the night. Fellow countrymen, Jakub Herman would get his second goal of the season shortly after. The scoring would continue with Travis Hamonic getting a hat trick at 8:33 on the power play. 

 

Joey Kornelson would get another past back up goalie for Edmonton–Lanigan. Cody Smuk would finish off the night with the 11^th goal. Ryan Stanton was credited with four assists, Kevin Smith with 4 and Rowinski with 2. Edmonton would get one more past Jeff Bosch making the final score 11-2. 

 

The Warriors will look to keep the scoring streak going as they take on the Kelowna Rockets tomorrow night.
