Schedule set for 2023 Training Camp
Moose Jaw, SK — Hockey season finally arrives in Moose Jaw at the end of the month.
The Moose Jaw Warriors are preparing to host over 70 players for the team’s 2023 Training Camp at the Moose Jaw Events Centre, starting on Aug. 31.
Training Camp kicks off with Rookie Camp on Thursday, Aug. 31. There will be two practices in the morning and then a scrimmage in the afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
Rookie Camp closes on Friday, Sep. 1 with two more scrimmages at 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., while Main Camp picks up with a practice at 11 a.m. and a three-on-three scrimmage at 5:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Sep. 2, Main Camp kicks into high gear with scrimmages at 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
All ice times throughout Training Camp are open to the public.
Training Camp closes with the annual Black/White Intrasquad Game at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Sep. 3. Admission to the game will be via donation to the Canadian Mental Health Association in remembrance of former Warriors prospect Ethan Williams.
The Warriors will open the preseason on Sep. 7 in Swift Current.
