GAME 4: WARRIORS AT PATS PREVIEW

Game Preview: Eastern Division Quarter-final Game #4 Moose Jaw Warriors at Regina Pats

Round 2 at the Brandt Centre goes tonight. The road team won Round 1 last night 5-3.

The Moose Jaw Warriors and the Regina Pats will wage battle in the fourth game of the Eastern Conference Quarter-Final best-of-seven series tonight. Puck drop is set for shortly after 7 p.m. The Warriors hold a 2-1 series lead after back-to-back wins in Game 2 and 3.

The line of James Henry, Quinton Howden, and Sam Fioretti are currently leading the Warriors offensive charge. Howden has three goals and three assists thus far. Henry and Fioretti have tallied five points. Henry has five assists and Fioretti has two goals and three assists in the three games thus far. Cody Beach will return from his one-game suspension tonight and draw back into the line-up.

The Warriors have scored 15 goals and have given up seven in the three games of this series. The special teams for the Warriors have been making solid contributions in the series thus far. The powerplay is clipping along at a 25% success rate with four goals in 16 opportunities. The penalty kill is perfect on the road thus far. Last night the penalty kill units stopped three chances their opponents had with the man advantage. Overall in 11 times with a man down, the Warriors have only given up two goals.

After a day off from game action Thursday, the Warriors return home for Game 5 on Friday night. Be ready to ‘BRING THE NOISE’ again starting at 7 p.m.
