Spend NYE at Mosaic Place
The Moose Jaw Warriors are preparing to ring in 2020 with their annual New Year’s Eve Bash at Mosaic Place.
Over the past few years, the Warriors playing at home on New Year’s Eve has become an annual tradition for the organization and this is year will be no different.
“We’ve partnered again with Mosaic Place to bring the Bash back with some new twists and excitement that the fans are going to love,” Warriors director of business operations Corey Nyhagen said.
On the ice at Mosaic Place, the Warriors will be hosting the Brandon Wheat Kings to finish up 2019 and then following the game, the organization will be hosting a massive party to welcome in 2020 at the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre.
“They can come to the game, enjoy the game and then following that, it gives them the opportunity to stay here and take in the New Year’s festivities all under one roof,” Nyhagen said.
This year’s event will be going to the next level with some new additions, including VIP tables.
“You’re going to have your own tables that are reserved for you, your own bottle of champagne, hot appetizers, close to the dance floor and a bunch of other treats throughout the night,” Nyhagen said.
“Those tables are limited, very limited, but there’s more information available at the Warriors’ office.”
There will be some high-end entertainment at this year’s Bash as well with DJ Anchor helping fans ring in the new year.
“The last few bashes that we’ve gone with different cover bands and tried to play to the likes of everybody, but this year, we’ve been able to secure DJ Anchor,” Nyhagen said. “Anybody who’s been to the Saskatchewan Rush games and has seen that party there, DJ Anchor is their official DJ at all of those games and creating that party atmosphere.”
In addition to DJ Anchor spinning tracks, the Mirror Me Booth will be back for fans to get their photos taken and the organization is planning on upping the game in the food department as well.
“Compass Group has been really receptive about ramping up the food options, we’ve only had popcorn or pizza, so we’ve challenged them to have different food options,” Nyhagen said.
There will also be a chance for fans to walk away big winners during the night.
“This year, we’ll be giving out some great prizes, on the hour throughout the evening, we’re going to be doing some draws and then just after midnight, we’re going to be doing a draw for a $2,500 travel voucher,” Nyhagen added.
The New Year’s Eve Bash is 19+ and tickets can be purchased for $35 or you can purchase a game and bash ticket bundle for $50. Contact the Mosaic Place Box Office to get your tickets today.
