Armstrong Signs With Warriors
Moose Jaw Warriors General Manager Alan Millar has announced that 1999-born defenseman Brandon Armstrong has committed to the Warriors and the Western Hockey League by signing a Standard Player Agreement.
Armstrong, 6’5”/210lbs, is from Maple Ridge, BC and was selected by the Warriors in the 5th round, 92nd overall, in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft. Armstrong play last season with the Port Moody Panthers in the Pacific Junior Hockey League, he was second in team scoring among defenseman with six goals and 16 points in 35 games and second on the team with 100 penalty minutes. He also took part in the 2015 PJHL Prospects Game
In 2014-2015, Armstrong played his 15-year-old season with the Vancouver NE Chiefs in the BC Major Midget Hockey League, in 40 games he had four goals, 21 points, and 98 penalty minutes. In his draft year (2013-2014), Armstrong played with the Okanagan Hockey Academy Bantam Prep team and had four goals, 25 points and 62 penalty minutes in 55 games.
