Tigers Training Camp Schedule Set
Medicine Hat, AB – The journey begins for the 2023-2024 WHL season for the Medicine Hat Tigers as fall training camp begins next week.
Prospects, rookies & veterans will all make their return to Co-op Place & the community they’ll call home for the fall & winter starting Thursday, August 31, 2023.
Training Camp begins with player check-in on the 31st. Followed by the first set of practices commencing on Friday, September 1 at Co-op Place at 9:30 AM & 10:45 AM. Tigers players will be have work-outs and fitness testing throughout the day. Friday’s conclusion will both groups scrimmage at 7:00 PM.
On Saturday, September 2, the schedule will be the same with practices at 9:30 AM & 10:45 AM, followed by a scrimmage at 7 PM.
The final day of camp concludes with the Orange & Black Game at 10:30 AM.

All eligible returnees from the 2022-2023 season will be in attendance at camp. along with newcomers Gavin McKenna (Whitehorse, YT), Hayden Harsanyi (Calgary, AB), Kadon McCann (Cochrane, AB), Matthew Paranych (Edmonton, AB).
2023 WHL Prospects Draft picks Liam & Markus Ruck (Osoyoos, BC), Koray Bozkaya (Maple Ridge, BC) & Riley Steen (Victoria, BC) are also confirmed to attend training camp and will part-take in the Tigers pre-season schedule.
The Tigers open the WHL pre-season will a road game in Lethbridge, Tuesday, September 5 at the Enmax Centre at 7 PM. Followed by a home tilt with the Hurricanes on Saturday, September 9, at Co-op Place at 7 PM.
Medicine Hat will conclude the pre-season with a home at home series with the Swift Current Broncos. Starting Friday, September 15 at Co-op Place7 PM. Then in Swift Current the following night on Saturday at 7 PM.
Pre-Season tickets can be purchased at the Tigers Office for $20.
The Tigers open the 2023-2024 WHL Regular Season Friday, September 22 on the road in Calgary at the Scotiabank Saddledome followed by the Home-Opener Saturday, September 23 at Co-op Place at 7 PM.
