Tigers One Up Red Deer
The Medicine Hat Tigers scored a 2-1 road victory over the Red Deer Rebels on Wednesday night.
Forward Jerrid Sauer scored the game winning goal unassisted early in the third period.
Rookie forward Sean Ringrose opened the scoring for the Tigers with a goal in the first period, before Red Deer evened the score early in the second period.
Goaltender Tomas Vosvrda recorded the victory for the Tigers by stopping 23 of 24 shots. With the win, Tomas improves to 3-1-0-0 on the season.
The Tigers went 0 for 5 with the man advantage, however, they did not allow Red Deer to score on three power plays.
