TIGERS EXTEND WIN STREAK WITH WIN OVER RAIDERS

WHL GAME SUMMARY  –  TIGERS WEBTV HI-LITES

Medicine Hat, AB – Led by Captain Wacey Hamilton, the Tigers defeated the Prince Albert Raiders 4-2 for their fourth win in a row.

The Tigers’ Captain recorded three assists, while extending his personal point streak to six games.

It took nearly two full periods before the Tigers could solve the Raiders goaltending as defenceman Jace Coyle put the Tigers ahead near the end of the 2nd period with his second goal of the season.

That goal seemed to spark the Tigers as Linden Vey  and Hunter Shinkaruk scored early in the 3rd period to build a 3-0 lead for Medicine Hat.  While Vey scored shorthanded, Shinkaruk scored on the power play.

After the Raiders scored twice in less than a minute to pull within one, Tyler Pitlick added an empty net goal to secure a win for the Tigers.

Goaltender Tyler Bunz (8-5-1-0), who was solid throughout the night,  stopped 25 of 27 shots in the win.

The Tigers now enjoy one day off before playing host to the Brandon Wheat Kings at th Medicine Hat Arena on Tuesday, November 23.  Game time is 7:00 PM (MST) and can heard live on CHAT 94.5 FM at tigershockey.com or watched via webcast at livestream.whl.ca.
