TIGERS DEFEAT BLADES 6-4
The Tigers hosted the Saskatoon Blades on Saturday night in their annual Stick It To Breast Cancer game. Tiger players used pink wrapped sticks in warm ups and during their first shift of the game. The sticks were then auctioned off throughout the first two periods. There were also team signed sticks and a pair of pink jerseys up for raffle. Between the two promotions the event brought in $7,798.25 for the Canadian Cancer Society. Not only did the Tigers have a big night off the ice they also came away with a big 6-4 win over the Blades to end a three game slide.
