Rockets Blast Past Tigers
Kelowna, BC – The Kelowna Rockets scored early and often against the Tigers in a 10-1 loss on Friday night.
On a night the Tigers would like to forget, Medicine Hat was out shot 40-24, while suffering their second straight loss.
A bright spot for the Tigers was forward Tyler Ennis extending his point streak to seven games with an assist on the lone Medicine Hat goal by Zdenek Okal.
Ennis has seven goals and seven assists during the streak.
Tigers Colton Grant was stopped on a penalty shot near the end of the second period.
Goaltender Ryan Holfeld started in the nets for the Tigers, stopping 22 of 27 shots before giving way to rookie Tyler Bunz. The rookie allowed five goals on 13 shots.
Medicine Hat was held scoreless on five power plays, while killing off two of four Kelowna man advantages.
