
Game Day Coordinator
The Tigers are searching for an outgoing, personable and dependable individual to assist in the coordination of activities during Tigers game nights. The coordinator will work alongside the game night promotional staff.
Please note the Gameday Coordinator is a part-time role, only working Tigers game days.
Duties:
- Assist in the coordination of in-game promotions.
- Coordinate in-game host and mascot activities.
- Participate as part of the Tigers promotional team.
- Set-up of in-game promotional activities.
- Set-up of pre-game introductions and special presentations.
- Set-up of post-game presentations.
- Assistance with 50/50 and Jersey Draw Raffles.
- Assistance with handouts/giveaways either before or after games.
- Assist with game day arena set up and tear down.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Able to work evenings and weekends.
- Basic knowledge of Ice Hockey.
- Experience with event management is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to think creatively and problem solve.
- Willingness and ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Display strong communication and interpersonal skills, be self-directed and able to follow both written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Ability to lift items up to 30lbs.

Game Night DJ
The Game Night DJ is an integral part of the game day staff. They are responsible for the music and audio controls prior to and during the game. Music is essential in creating an exciting atmosphere within the building and can direct fan interaction during stoppages in play. The Game Night DJ will work alongside the video board production staff and will be directed by the Game Day Producer.
Duties:
- Operate the audio board and music computer as directed by the Game Day Producer.
- Keep the fans entertained by filling stoppages of play and intermissions with music.
- Manage the sound levels of the music and microphones for the Game Host and PA Announcer.
- In charge of the goal horn and powerplay/penalty kill audio, among others.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Able to work evenings and weekends..
- Experience with audio boards and event production preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work with computers proficiently.
- Basic knowledge of Ice Hockey.
- Willingness and ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to follow verbal direction precisely.

Mascot
Rroary the Tiger is one of the most beloved mascots in the Western Hockey League. We’re looking for a part-time mascot to interact with fans throughout the game and assist the promotional staff with in-game promotions and intermission activities.
Duties:
- Greet and interact with fans prior to and during the game.
- Assist with activities and promotions, both in-game and in intermissions.
- Pump up fans during pre-game activities on ice or in stands.
- Dance and direct fan interaction during breaks in play.
- Assist with crowd participation on Jumbo-tron activities.
- Perform mascot duties in a manner deemed acceptable according to the Tigers standards.
- Other Duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Available to work evenings and weekends.
- Experience preferred, but not required.
- Outgoing and creative personality with a willingness and desire to have fun.
- Must love working with people of all ages.
- Initiative, dedication, and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Quick thinking skills, must be able to troubleshoot situations without delay and act accordingly.
- Must be able to lift approximately 30 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a costume and develop the character and persona of the mascot.
- Due to costume restrictions, candidates must be at least 5’9” tall but no more than 6’3” tall.

Game Day Video Production
The Tigers are searching for outgoing, hard working and dependable individuals that have a keen interest in computers and technology to add to our video production team. The gameday video production team is responsible for all aspects of the Tigers in-house production including shooting each home game for broadcast, recording and playing back replays, in game graphics, as well as running visual elements in-venue. We require camera operators, graphics operators and cable pullers for the upcoming season.
Please note that we rotate members of the video production team depending on availability so that everyone gets a chance to work different positions.
Requirements:
- Able to work evenings and weekends.
- Willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of Ice Hockey.
- Experience in broadcasting preferred, but not required.
- Willingness and ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment.
- Able to think and act quickly is a must.
- Must be able to follow verbal direction precisely.
