Ice defeat Tigers 4-2
The Kootenay Ice defeated the Medicine Hat Tigers 4-2 as the Tigers finished off the 2006-07 WHL Regular Season.
The Tigers now gear up to face the Red Deer Rebels in the 1st round of the 2007 WHL Playoffs.
Resting numerous veterans, the Tigers dressed many young prospects against a veteran laden Kootenay Ice squad.
Tigers forward Scott Wasden and Jerrid Sauer scored for the Tigers, who finished the night going 0 for 8 on the power play.
Goaltender Ryan Holfeld stopped 25 of 29 shots in the loss.
Kootenay finished the night going 3 for 8 with the man advantage.
