Jim Duce – PA Announcer

Jim has retired from being on-air after 50 years behind the mic and 47 years with CHAT 94.5. He still enjoys waking up before everyone else, now you’ll find him on the golf course, rather than in the studio!

Jim has been the in house voice of the Tigers for many years as his distinctly recognizable voice has been heard on many goals announcements and advertisements. Jim is co-Honorary Campaign Chairman of the United Way of Southeastern Alberta.

In the summer he can likely be found on the golf course where he is 5 time Connaught Golf Club Men’s Champion but also adds a City Open Championship and Southeastern Golf Classic champion to his resume. During the winter Jim is usually found somewhere warm, visiting Mexico or Hawaii with family.

Jesse Christiansen – In-Game Host

Hey Tiger Fans!  My name is Jesse Christiansen. I the morning show on CHAT 94.5 in Medicine Hat. I have lived in Medicine Hat most of my life. I am a HUGE fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Red Sox and wrestling! Growing up, I wanted to be a Radio DJ or a Wrestler.

I have been a Tigers fan for a long time. My dad and I would go to games in the old arena when the smarties seats were still around. I did get caught up in watching the old arena hosts. Some games, I think I watched “T-Bo” more than the action on the ice. I would go around telling kids at school that one day I would be the next “T-Bo”. It’s an honour and a privilege to be your Arena Host! LETS GO TIIIIIIIIGERS!!!!

Rroary The Tiger – Mascot/Entertainer/Favourite Tiger

Rroary has been living in Medicine Hat for over 50 years and has been a staple in the heart of kids and fans alike. With his great big toothy smile and soft fur, you will normally see Rroary giving high fives, hugs or pumping up the crowd with his “Go Tigers Go” signs!

Rroary is of course the Tigers #1 fan and he can’t wait to everyone back at Co-op Place in the fall.
