@ PATS: Tonight will mark the final time Medicine Hat will take on the Regina Pats this season as the Tigers have a 1-2-0-0 record, their only victory being a come from behind victory in a shootout February 10^th. LAST GAME: The Tigers travelled to Brandon to open a 3 game road trip Wednesday night. Brandon was a team the Tabbies have not beaten this season. The first period was a defensive battle with both goalies stealing the show. Marek Langhamer and Jordan Papirny played very well through a scoreless opening frame and through the first 15 minutes of the second until Brandon was able to respond with two goals of their own. The final frame saw Brandon add 3 markers to extend their lead to 5-0 and ultimately leave Medicine Hat with their 9^th loss in their past 11 games.

 

FEBRUARY BLUES: The Medicine Hat Tigers will be happy once the calendar switches to March on Sunday as their February has not been one for fans to cheer for. During the month of February the Tigers played a gruelling stretch of games, including a 6 game in 8 night’s time earlier in the month. The results have also not favored the Tigers, losing 9 of their 11 games this month heading into tonight. The losing streak has made Medicine Hat drop in the standings and now is in a dog fight with Calgary, Red Deer and trailing Kootenay for the top 3 seeds in the Central Division.
