GAME 56: TIGERS VS PRINCE ALBERT RAIDERS

VS PRINCE ALBERT: This is the fourth and final meetings between the Tigers and Raiders this season. So far, Medicine Hat has posted a 3-0-0-0 record versus the Raiders (1-0-0-0 at home and 2-0-0-0 in Prince Albert). Medicine Hat has outscored the Raiders 15-8 with Hunter Shinkaruk (5G, 3A) leading the way for the Tigers with eight points.  Goaltender Tyler Bunz (3-0-0-0) has allowed eight goals (2.67 GAA) on 99 shots (.909 Save %). MILESTONES: Matt Konan recently played his 283^rd game in a Tigers jersey. That put him into 9^th place all-time passing Stefan Meyer and Wayne Hynes, who both played 282 games. Konan now needs to play only three more games to pass Kevin Riehl for 8^th place. Konan is also closing in on another big milestone. He is only four points away from 100 on his career. Emerson Etem and James Bettauer also hit important milestones in the assist category. Etem recently collected his 100^th assist and Bettauer reached the 50 assist plateau. Perhaps the biggest milestone that has been recently achieved is Tyler Bunz’s passing of the all-time win record with his 106^th win. Bunz passed Matt Keetley to stand alone among the past great Tigers goaltenders.

 

STREAKS: Emerson Etem is currently riding a 16 game point streak. Over the streak he has scored 21 goals and has added 7 assists. Hunter Shinkaruk (9G, 7A) and Curtis Valk (7G, 6A) have also been playing great lately collecting points in 8 and 7 of their last 10 games, respectively.
