ETEM NAMED TIGER OF THE WEEK
Medicine Hat, AB – The Medicine Hat Tiger of the Week for the week ending October 31, 2010 is forward Emerson Etem.
Emerson earns player of the week honours after recording five points in two games this past week.
Starting Wednesday night against the Kootenay Ice, Emerson recorded his first two assists of the season in the Tigers 3-2 loss.
Saturday night against the Chilliwack Bruins, Emerson scored twice and added an assist, while also recording his third multi-goal game of the season in the Tigers 5-4 win.
On the season, Emerson, a recent 1st round NHL draft pick of the Anaheim Ducks, has eight goals and 11 points in 12 games. Last season, Emerson led all WHL rookies in goals scored with 37.
