EISENSCHMID PICKS UP ATB FINANCIAL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Medicine Hat, AB – The ATB Financial Player of the Week for the week ending October 26th, is forward Markus Eisenschmid.

The Tigers started off the week with back to back home games against the Moose Jaw Warriors and Calgary Hitmen respectively. Eisenschmid was crucial in both games, recording 3 points over the two games. Eisenschmid’s performance is not just measured in points, Markus has used he speed and skills to be an impactful player throughout the start of the season. 

This is Eisenschmid’s first ATB Financial Player of the Week honour of the 2014-2015 season. Last year, Markus never was awarded a player of the week last season, but look for him to get numerous honors this year. 

Over the past week, Markus has tallied 2 goals and 1 assists in 2 games and is currently on a 3 game point streak. 

Eisenschmid is on pace to shatter his point totals from last season (23 points in 2013-14, he currently has 17) and is currently ranked in the top 20 in the WHL for scoring.
