BUNZ TAKES EVERYTHING IN
Tyler Bunz has spent a surprising amount of time in front of the cameras this week.
At the summer development camp for Hockey Canada’s world junior team, the Medicine Hat Tigers goaltender expected everything to be geared towards being serious on ice. On Tuesday as players arrived in Edmonton, Bunz, who lives in neighbouring St. Albert, took part in various media interview sessions.
But on Wednesday’s first official full day of camp, Bunz first hit the ice to do a commercial shoot.
“It was pretty cool,” said Bunz over the phone from Edmonton. “We did those Nike commercials, where they just do hockey skills on ice. It is just kind of one of those things that you see during world juniors at Christmas.
