WHL GAME SUMMARY  –  TIGERS TV HIGHLIGHTS

Medicine Hat, AB – The Kamloops Blazers avenged an early season loss to the Tigers by reversing the tides with a 6-3 win over Medicine Hat on Saturday night.

Kamloops, who on Friday were assured a playoff spot in the Western Conference, were thumped 12-5 earlier this season by the Tigers.

For Medicine Hat, who need jus two more points to clinch a playoff berth, now sits two points behind the Red Deer Rebels in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Kamloops managed to break a 3-3 deadlock with a power play marker at 18:07 of the third period before adding two empty net goals for the victory.

Scoring for the Tigers were forwards Taylor Gal, Zdenek Okal and Emerson Etem with his 34th goal of the season.

Tigers goaltender Tyler Bunz (27-19-3-2) stopped 22 of 26 shots in the loss.
