DAVID COX 1962-2022

The Medicine Hat Tigers are saddened to learn the passing of David Cox. Cox moved to Medicine Hat in 1997 where he began his career as a coach driver for Totem Transportation and Traxx Coach Line. During the winters he was the official bus driver for the Swift Current Broncos and then for the Tigers. He also drove the bus for the Brooks Bandits of the AJHL. In the summer, Cox drove sightseeing tours through the Rocky Mountains, most recently through Tauck Tours.

“Dave was a quiet, to himself kind of guy who loved hockey and became close to the teams he drove for,” said former Tigers radio voice Bob Ridley, who was close friends with Cox.
