Garry has been on the Silvertips scouting staff since 2003-2004.

Garry played Junior B in the NSJHL for 5 years with the Kinistino Tiger Bruins from 1972 through to 1977. Garry carries coaching and managing experience across multiple levels of minor hockey.

Garry retired from the Prince Albert Police Service in May 2016 after serving 40 years and retired at the rank of Inspector.

Garry currently resides in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan with his wife Bev.
