DIGITAL MEDIA INTERNSHIP:
Work directly with our media and gameday staff in order to deliver exciting gameday media and grow our team’s presence on social media.
Key focus and learning:
- Attendance at all 34 Everett Silvertips home games preferable; Remote availability for road games a plus
- Gameday social media management, including Instagram, Twitter and TikTok
- Act as on-site media liaison for local and national media personnel
- Assist in coordination of post-game interviews with players, coaches
- Basic Photoshop/graphic design skills requested
- Videography opportunities for those with strong video/editing interests
We are looking for:
- Current college students or post-graduates
- A high level of comfort interacting with all kinds of people
- Strong computer and mobile app navigation skills
Term:
This internship begins during Training Camp (late August) and will end at the conclusion of hockey season (approximately April-May).
Hours:
Game nights: regularly work nights and weekends (typically start 3 hours before game time, end one hour after game’s conclusion)
Compensation:
While this is unfortunately an unpaid position, interns within our media department have earned paid positions with the Seattle Kraken, Pittsburgh Penguins, Henderson Silver Knights, Everett AquaSox, University of Michigan, and the Everett Silvertips in the last three years alone!

GAMEDAY OPERATIONS INTERNSHIP (FILLED FOR THE 2026-27 SEASON):
Key focus and learning:
- Attendance at all 34 Everett Silvertips home games
- Assist in the preparation and execution for special promotions and arena activities
- Support gameday staff including Public Address, mascot, Gameday Operations Manager, etc.
- Go behind the scenes to learn the ins-and-outs of a minor league hockey operation
We are looking for:
- Current high school seniors, college students or post-graduates
- Candidates with positive attitude, self-confidence, professionalism and strong sense of accountability
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Term:
This internship begins during Preseason (early September) and will end at the conclusion of hockey season (approximately April-May).
Hours:
Game nights: regularly work nights and weekends (typically start 3 hours before game time, end one hour after game’s conclusion)
Compensation:
Minimum wage pay.
