Royals Acquire Grady Lane in exchange for an 8th Round Pick
Lane had 8 goals and 15 assists in the 2022-23 season
The Victoria Royals have announced the acquisition of 2003 born forward, Grady Lane, from the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for an 8th round pick in 2025. The product of Virden, Manitoba, stands at 6’2” and 192 lbs.
Lane is coming off a solid season in Spokane in which he recorded six goals and added six assists for 12 points in 66 games played. He also served 113 penalty minutes over the course of the season. The 20-year-old forward will also bring leadership to the Royals as he served as the Chiefs assistant captain during the 2022/23 campaign.
The forward accumulated 129 regular-season games played over the course of four seasons in Spokane where he scored eight goals and 15 assists for 23 points and added 223 penalty minutes along the way.
