Ritchie ranked #19 among North American Skaters by NHL Central Scouting
NHL Central Scouting came out with their final Draft Rankings ahead of the 2024 NHL Draft today. In that list was Raider winger Ryder Ritchie, who was ranked 19th among North American skaters.
Ritchie, 17, just finished his second season with the Raiders, where he suited up in 47 games. The 6’0, 173 pound forward scored 19 goals and added 25 assists for 44 points. In 108 career WHL games, the Kelowna, BC product has 39 goals and 60 assists, just one point shy of 100.
He finished his first playoff series in the WHL with Prince Albert this season, where the club fell in five games to the Saskatoon Blades. In those five games, Ritchie led the team in scoring, with three goals and four assists for seven points. All three of his goals in the postseason came on the powerplay, and two of those four assists came on the man advantage.
The first round of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft begins on Friday, June 28 from Las Vegas. Rounds 2-7 will be conducted on the 29th.
