Prince Albert trades up to select Ben Harvey fourth overall at 2024 WHL Prospects Draft Presented by Windsor Plywood Prince Albert
The first trade of the day belonged to the Prince Albert Raiders and the Kelowna Rockets at the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft Presented by Windsor Plywood Prince Albert on Thursday. The Raiders traded up to acquire the fourth overall pick. In exchange, they gave away their ninth overall pick, one of their three third round picks (57th overall), and a fifth round pick in 2025.
With the fourth overall pick, the Raiders selected Ben Harvey, a forward who played for NAX U15 Prep. In 27 regular season games, Harvey scored 19 goals and added 33 assists for 52 points. The 5’8, 148lb Edmonton product also delivered in the playoffs, scoring six goals and adding five more assists in five playoff games.
