Game Preview: December 14 vs Brandon
SETTING IT UP:
Prince Albert (13-10-3-0) picked up a 6-3 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors on Tuesday night at the Art Hauser Centre. Niall Crocker had four assists while Harrison Lodewyk scored twice, as the Raiders improved their season series with Moose Jaw to 2-0-0-0. Tonight the Raiders will look to even the season series against the Brandon Wheat Kings (14-8-3-1). Their last matchup was on Saturday night at Westoba Place, where the Raiders came out on the wrong side of a 7-3 final.
MID WEEK TRADE:
The Raiders and Rebels swung a trade on Tuesday afternoon. Prince Albert sent forward Cole Peardon to Red Deer in exchange for 18-year-old centerman Evan Smith.
150 FOR DUBE:
Brayden Dube is set to play in his 150th WHL game tonight. After playing 14 games with the Seattle Thunderbirds, Dube has played the rest of his 136 (including tonight) with Prince Albert. Entering tonight, he has 35 career goals and 31 assists for 66 points. He is just five points back of his career high of 29 in a single season that he set last year.
DRAGO REACHES 150 ASSISTS:
Lukas Dragicevic recorded two assists in Tuesday night’s win over the Warriors. With that, the defenceman reached the 150 assist mark in his 226th WHL game. In 24 games this season, Dragicevic has three goals and 28 assists for 31 points.
