Game Preview: December 17 @ Edmonton
SETTING IT UP:
Prince Albert (14-10-3-0) wrap up the first half of the regular season with the first of two road games tonight in Edmonton against the Oil Kings (16-12-1-1). The Raiders are coming off a 5-3 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings on Saturday night. Edmonton also won their last game, defeating the Kamloops Blazers 7-3 on Sunday.
SECOND MEETING OF THE SEASON:
The Raiders and Oil Kings have only met once this season, back on November 16 at the Art Hauser Centre. Tomas Mrsic scored twice and had two assists for Prince Albert, while Max Hildebrand stopped 33 of 34 shots. Aiden Oiring had a three point night, scoring a goal and adding two assists.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT IN THE DUB:
All eyes will be on the Raiders and Calgary Hitmen tomorrow. It’s Wednesday Night In The Dub, where the game will be streamed live on WHL Live and YouTube. Prince Albert has the edge in the season series, winning their first and only meeting of the season by a 4-3 final on December 6.
