Game Preview: December 5 @ Calgary
SETTING IT UP:
The Prince Albert Raiders (17-3-4-0) suffered back to back losses for the first time this season, as they dropped their second game in a row on Wednesday in Medicine Hat. They will hope to get back into the win column tonight as they visit the Calgary Hitmen (12-8-3-1). Calgary has six games in a row entering tonight, and haven’t played since a 4-3 loss at home to the Red Deer Rebels.
WORLD JUNIORS REPRESENT:
Alisher Sarkenov will be away from the team for a while, as he is off to represent Kazakhstan at the Divison 1A World Junior Championship in Slovenia. That tournament begins on December 7th, and ends on the 13th.
Matyas Man and Michal Orsulak were named to Czechia’s national team camp today as well!
DEBUT TONIGHT:
After being acquired from the Wenatchee Wild on Wednesday, 19-year-old forward Maddix McCagherty will make his Raiders debut tonight in Calgary. In 22 games with the Wild this season, the Kelowna, BC product had six goals and nine assists for 15 points. He has 67 career points (28-39) in 150 games.

For personal reasons, forward Jackson Kostiuk has left the team.

The three games in three nights stretch continues tomorrow night in Red Deer. After that, the Raiders will head to Edmonton for an afternoon matchup with the Oil Kings.
