Orsulak and Man named to Czechia’s World Junior training camp roster
The Prince Albert Raiders are proud to announce that goaltender Michal Orsulak and defenceman Matyas Man have been named to Czechia’s 2026 World Juniors training camp roster.
Both players are in their first WHL seasons with the Raiders, and have made incredible impacts for different reasons. Orsulak is one of the best goaltenders in the league, with a league-best 1.99 GAA, and a .919 SV%, which ranks fifth. His nine wins on the season are tied for sixth most, while he shares the league lead with two shutouts.
Man, a big 6’5 defenceman, has solidified himself as a formidable opponent on the back end. With his physical play, combined with his long reach, he doesn’t get scored on much, and his +9 rating reflects that. He scored his first WHL goal a couple weekends ago against the Brandon Wheat Kings, and also has three assists for four points.
The 2026 World Junior Championship begins on Boxing Day in Minneapolis and Saint Paul, Minnesota.
