The Edmonton Oil Kings are ecstatic to have donated over 2,500 pairs of socks to this years Socktober campaign. Fans were encouraged to donate new pairs of socks during three home games throughout the month of October.

With the help of our amazing fans, the Oil Kings were able to help meet over 25% of Operation Friendship Senior Society’s (OFSS) overall goal of collecting 10,000 pairs of socks throughout Socktober!

OFSS’s Jimmy Morrison joined us at our game on November 3rd to announce their total collection amount! The Oil Kings want to say a huge congratulations to OFSS who reached and surpassed their goal by collecting 18,448 pairs of socks throughout their Socktober campaign!
