Titlbach to Play in Hlinka Gretzky Cup Semifinal on Friday
Břeclav, Czechia – After three games in three days, the group stage of the Hlinka Gretzky Cup is now complete for Vancouver Giants forward Adam Titlbach and his home country of Czechia.
Titlbach registered four points (2G-2A) in the three games, helping Czechia finish in first place in Group A with a 2-1 record. They defeated the United States 7-2 on Monday and beat Germany 6-2 on Tuesday, before falling to Sweden 4-2 on Wednesday.
In Monday’s tournament opener, Titlbach was named the Player of the Game thanks to a two-goal, three-point performance.
Czechia will now play Finland in the semifinals on Friday, August 4 at 10 a.m. PT.
