GAME DAY: Sun. December 8 at Portland
Portland, OR – The Vancouver Giants (12-11-4-0) look to rebound in their second straight matchup with the Portland Winterhawks (14-11-2-0) this afternoon at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum at 4 p.m.
Last night, they were defeated 7-2 by the Winterhawks. Today is their Teddy Bear Toss.
This is the third of five meetings this season, with Vancouver still in search of their first H2H win.
The G-Men started the weekend strong with a 3-2 overtime win on Friday over the Tri-City Americans – picking up their first road win since Oct. 11 – but took a step back last night against Portland, as they surrendered six consecutive goals between the second and third periods.
The Hawks are currently two points up on Vancouver in the Western Conference standings with 30 points, to the Giants 28.
