6 Giants Prospects to Play in Canada Games
All of Western Canada’s provincial rosters are now set for February’s Canada Winter Games in Prince Edward Island, and six players drafted by the Giants will be representing their provinces.
BC U16 Male:
Cameron Schmidt – 7th Overall – Prince George, BC
Jakob Oreskovic – 22nd Overall – Langley, BC
Colton Alain – 54th Overall – Victoria BC
BC U18 Female:
Chloe Primerano – 268th Overall – North Vancouver, BC
Alberta U16 Male:
Aaron Obobaifo – 19th Overall – Calgary, AB
Manitoba U16 Male:
Burke Hood – 119th Overall – Brandon, MB
Both Alain and Oreskovic have appeared in regular season games with the Giants this season.
