rRegina opened the scoring with a Dylan Hood goal, however Cody Eakin would score on the power-play to even the score at one. That goal was the Broncos first road power-play goal of the season. Regina would then get the next 3 goals over the next 2 periods of play, as Hampus Gustaffson, Jordan Eberle and Jordan Weal would all score for the Pats. Eakin would notch his second of the game, again on the power-play in the the third period to cut the lead to 4-2 but Regina quickly responded with their 5th goal as Hood tallied with his second of the game. The Pats were 2-6 on the power-play while the Broncos were 2-5.

The loss also snapped the Broncos string of 7 games in row outshooting their opponent as Regina had the edge 38-23 on Sunday.
