Make a Donation to the Swift Current Broncos

Fans of the Swift Current Broncos, residents of Swift Current and Southwest Saskatchewan, and supporters from around the world have generously supported the Broncos not-for-profit organization for many years. This support goes a long way to ensuring that we are able to serve our community the best way we know how, by bringing the community together around the great game of hockey.

If you would like to make a donation to the Swift Current Broncos Hockey Club, you can do so by mailing a cheque to the City of Swift Current, along with a letter addressed to the GM of Corporate Services explaining that the donation is for the Swift Current Broncos Hockey Club. The City of Swift Current will then issue a tax receipt directly to you.

Requests for Donations, Sponsorship, Appearances, Promotion and Community Engagement

The Swift Current Broncos are proud to be members of the Swift Current and Southwest Saskatchewan communities. As a community owned not-for-profit, we are committed to serving the community through our sports and entertainment operations as well as by helping support other organizations and causes in fulfilling their missions.

The Broncos are able to help our community partners through several methods, such as:

• Discounted promotions in-venue, through media, and on our broadcast/podcast
• Donations of merchandise and unique items used towards fundraising and causes
• Donations of tickets and ticket packages used towards fundraising and causes
• Sponsorship
• Player/Coach/Mascot/Staff appearances at events, activities, and fundraisers

Many organizations endeavor to help support their community through sponsored Broncos activities, and we are always willing to help organizations achieve their community engagement and support goals with Broncos activities and engagement. Like many not-for-profit organizations, we face limitations with regards to the resources we are able to commit to supporting other organizations, causes, and missions, and as such we prioritize causes that relate to the following:

• Youth physical health, mental health, education, and mentorship
• Youth sport and physical activities
• Adult physical and mental health

We encourage all organizations and causes to submit requests and suggestions for donations of merchandise and tickets, appearances, and sponsored events, however please understand that our limited resources will be first directed to the above causes.

Donations of merchandise, tickets, and sponsorships will be limited to the organization’s budget and goals, while player/coach/mascot/staff appearances and promotions will be limited by schedule and availability. As a result, we cannot fulfil all requests and submissions. The value of individual donations and sponsorships is generally limited to $150 in value unless under special circumstances and approval.

 

Timing of Requests

For all donations of merchandise and tickets, as well as sponsorships, please submit your request sixty (60) days prior to the event or need.

For player/coach/mascot/staff appearances and other activities, please submit your request ninety (90) days prior to the event or activity.
