Broncos Hockey School Kicks Off
The ice is back in at the InnovationPlex and that means it’s time for another year of the Swift Current Broncos Hockey School!
The Annual event will see a record number of players hit the ice as over 130 kids are registered this year.
“The Broncos are excited to welcome the participants of this year’s hockey school. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive from last year’s camp thanks to the effort of our very own players,” said Broncos Head Coach Devan Praught. “We are looking forward to providing the same experience again this year. We have an exciting week ahead of us!”
Participants will once again be coached by members of the Broncos Coaching Staff, current Bronco players, and prospects. Players this year include Sam Ward, Mat Ward, Caleb Wyrostok, Connor Hvidston, Adam McNutt, Connor Gabriel, Tyson Laventure, Van Eger, Joey Rocha, and prospects Parker Rondeau, Wesley Olson, Berney Weston, along with Sam and Will Kirwan.
Players will get a chance to work closely with the Bronco players on the ice, and off the ice throughout the week.
Participants will be provided lunch each day by a number of sponsors, including Subway, Boston Pizza, Pizza Hut, KFC, and Dominos Pizza.
