Prospect Connor Horning Signs Standard Player Agreement with Broncos
Swift Current, SK – The Swift Current Broncos announced Monday that the club has signed 15-year-old defenceman Connor Horning to a Standard Player Agreement.
“Connor is a talented young defender who is exited to play for the Broncos,” said Director of Player Personnel Manny Viveiros. “He has a real opportunity to be in our lineup next year and we’re pleased to have him with our organization.”
Horning who turns 16 in May was drafted by the Broncos in the third round, 61st overall in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft. A product of Kelowna, BC, Horning tallied seven points (1g-6a) in 22 games with the Pursuit of Excellence 18U Prep squad of the NAPHL 18U to go along with an assist in four playoff games. Furthermore, Horning suited up in four games with the West Kelowna Warriors of the BCHL.
