Swift Current, Sask. – Swift Current Broncos defenceman Owen Pickering is among the 44 players invited to Hockey Canada’s National Junior Team summer camp, set for July 23 to 27 at the Markin MacPhail Centre at Winsport’s Canada Olympic Park in Calgary. Pickering looks to become the first Bronco to suit up for Team Canada at the World Junior Championship since Tyler Steenbergen in 2018.
The 2023 IIHF World Junior Championship is set for December 26, 2022 to January 5, 2023 in Halifax, N.S. and Moncton, N.B.
