Caswell, Mistelbacher Ranked in NHL Central Scouting Mid-Term Rankings
Swift Current, Sask. – A pair of Swift Current Bronco forwards have been ranked in NHL Central Scoutings Mid-Term Rankings.
Clarke Caswell has been ranked 68th among North American Skaters, while Luke Mistelbacher is 210th among North American Skaters.
Originally listed as a ‘C’ prospect in Central Scouting Preliminary rankings, putting him in the fourth or fifth round, Caswell has lifted himself to what is considered a third-round pick by the bureau. Through 40 games this season, Caswell has scored 12 goals, and added 34 assists for 46 points. That sits him 7th among first-year draft eligible players in the WHL. Caswell is currently on a five-game point streak where he has earned 12 points in that stretch. He’s currently the team’s second leading scorer and the leader in assists.
Mistelbacher wasn’t mentioned in the Preliminary Rankings, but has since earned himself a mention in what is labeled as the seventh round among North American skaters. Through 36 games this season, Mistelbacher has eight goals and 12 assists for 20 points this season. The Steinbach, Man. product has heated up as of late, earning five points over the last four games to start the 2024 calander year.
