Broncos Thank Local Businesses for Participation in Local Boyz Challenge
The Swift Current Broncos got together with Devin Dyck from Local Boyz and implemented the Local Boyz Challenge in which local businesses in Speedy Creek were challenged to purchase tickets to one of the Broncos final two regular season home games.
The concept of the challenge was similar to the famous Ice Bucket Challenge in 2014 in which one business would purchase tickets and then challenge two other local businesses to do so.
Local Boyz kick-started the challenge by purchasing 16 tickets to the Broncos home game on March 11th vs. the Saskatoon Blades. Standard Motors and Kruse Glass were challenged and the rest was history. In total 284 tickets were purchased and the Broncos thank each business for participating in this community driven initiative.
