Blades Make Special Cheque Presentation
The Saskatoon Blades were very pleased to make a very special cheque presentation prior to their game tonight against the Swift Current Broncos.
The proceeds from Saturday night’s 50/50 draw were split between the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan, Ronald McDonald House Saskatchewan, and the Saskatoon Blades Educational Scholarship Fund, inc. with the amount donated to each cause coming in at $20,570.
The donations were made possible thanks to the generosity of the Credit Unions of Saskatchewan as well as all the Blades fans who bought 50/50 tickets at last Saturday’s record-breaking game against the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
The Blades would once again like to thank all of our sponsors, media partners and the fans for making last Saturday night so successful. We would also like to let everyone know that the 50/50 pot from the game has in fact been claimed, with the lucky winner taking home over $68,000.
